Shinjuku Warm House

We stayed five nights and didn’t get any room cleaning. There also weren’t clear directions for where to leave the garbage. The place is in Shinjuku, within walking distance of a lot of spots, and having two bedrooms with two bathrooms and attached toilets was great. There’s storage under the beds for luggage, which really helps in a room this size.

The rooms had what we needed, though they’re better suited to one person. I had to fold up the chair to fit my luggage, and some outdoor noise carries inside. On Saturday, we could hear people talking and making noise at 3am. Checkout is expected to be prompt, and a bigger trash bin or directions for disposal would’ve helped. We were there four days and couldn’t find anywhere to leave the garbage. The Shinjuku location is central, and the price was similar to other nearby options. Having a washer and dryer on site was handy before leaving, but the owner also uses them, so after 6pm is the best time to do laundry.

We had everything we needed, and having a washer and dryer right there was a real plus. They even supplied the detergent. Great location too. Thanks for a great stay!

The place was clean, and we liked the location. There’s a cheap Laundromat here, too. But the size is hard to grasp until you’re inside. It’s unbelievably tiny, and you’ll be playing Jenga with your suitcases every day. If you’re even a little overweight, you won’t fit. We wouldn’t stay again, though it could work if you know how small it is and are fine with that. Three stars feels about right.
