We stayed on the “Prestige” side of the Okura for our honeymoon earlier this month, and the staff made it such a lovely experience. They were welcoming and accommodating from the start, and the hotel was beautiful and very well kept. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a bath overlooking the city, which was a real treat. The “Heritage” side is a different part of the hotel, for clarity. Breakfast at Orchid was delicious each morning, with both Japanese and western buffet choices, so we didn't get tired of it. On our last night we went to the bar on the top floor for the gorgeous city views. Definitely worth going. I can't think of a negative thing to say about our stay. The staff were what really made it special, and we'd love to come back to Tokyo and stay here again.

The atmosphere at The Okura Tokyo is a big part of its appeal. It feels refined and welcoming, with Japanese culture and craftsmanship present in the understated style rather than showy extravagance. The hotel's heritage is honored while the place still offers the comforts you'd expect from a luxury stay. My room was peaceful and spacious, with lovely design, natural light, a very comfortable bed and a view over the Tokyo skyline. Across the property, the architecture, interiors, amenities and service all seemed carefully considered. Staff were warm and professional, and handled requests graciously from arrival through departure. The restaurants were another highlight. Meals, whether Japanese or international, used premium ingredients and were presented with care. The wellness areas, fitness center and other facilities were also kept to a high standard and added to the sense of comfort. This was easily one of the finest hotel stays I've had, and The Okura Tokyo exceeded my already high expectations. The combination of beautiful rooms, attentive hospitality, good dining and timeless elegance made it memorable. I'd happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a top luxury hotel in Tokyo.

The attentive staff were plentiful and could not have been nicer, and the service was top notch. We were upgraded to a comfortable, well-appointed corner room with breathtaking views across Tokyo. Breakfast was busy, but delicious. The Okura is a first-class hotel in a wonderful location, though it has more of a business hotel feel than a resort, and important dignitaries often stay here.

For my first trip to Japan, The Okura was a wonderful first hotel. The service and staff were absolutely top-notch, the room felt palatial, and the food was fantastic. The bakery items at breakfast alone were extraordinary. The price was the one thing I'd criticize, and it wasn't exactly central for a tourist. My impression is that it caters more to business travelers, which may be the point. Still, if you can afford it, I don't think you'll regret staying here. I have a YouTube video of my whole trip, and any footage of the room will be near the beginning since I stayed here first.

The staff were incredibly attentive, and the housekeeping was like nothing else. The views were amazing, and the neighborhood was a quiet part of town. It's expensive, but the teppanyaki dinner on the top floor was the best meal of our lives, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Maybe the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in.
