Tokyu Stay Ginza

Ginza was so easy to explore from here, with shops, restaurants, and cafés just steps away and everything walkable. Nicole welcomed us warmly and helped us in Spanish, which made us feel comfortable right away. She was attentive, helpful, and caring throughout our stay. We had a lovely time at Tokyu Stay Ginza and would happily come back. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.

We keep choosing Tokyu Stay around Japan because having laundry in the room is convenient. Nicole was a huge help getting us settled and making sure things went well. There are plenty of ways to get around: Higashi-Ginza station is steps away, Ginza station is a few minutes farther, and several bus routes run nearby. You can also reach lots of places within a 30-minute walk if you fancy a stroll. The room wasn't as clean as we'd hoped, especially the carpet and bathroom floor.

Our room was on the 15th floor and had a lovely view. One annoyance was having only two elevators, which cost the hotel a star for me. Also, if your group has rooms on different floors, you can only meet in the lobby, since each key card only lets you access your own floor. We finished our first trip to Japan in Tokyo and stayed at Tokyo Stay Ginza. The room was as described, with a washer-dryer that worked surprisingly well as long as we didn't overfill it. There was detergent in the room but no softener, and I don't know whether the detergent was supplied by the hotel or left by previous guests. Several convenience stores are just minutes away, so getting detergent, softener, or both was no problem.

Our room was spacious enough, clean, and had a washer-dryer, so we could pack less and shop a bit more. The location is ideal, close to Ginza station and Lawson and FamilyMart. I'd highly recommend it if you like Ginza.
