Grandberry Park, which closes at 8 p.m., and the Snoopy Museum are both within walking distance. If you’re planning to shop at the outlet until closing, staying here is very convenient. Driving into Tokyo the next morning can mean traffic, so leave extra time. Google Maps may give a very different estimate at night from the actual drive the next morning. The hotel is clean, convenient, and has what you need. The room and bathroom were clean and equipped, and there’s an ice dispenser by the main elevator on every floor. Breakfast is included and good. If you’re driving, reserve the hotel parking in advance by informing the hotel. It costs a flat JPY 1,500 from 3 p.m. until 10 a.m. the following day. You can leave the car there and walk to the outlet without worrying about its parking fees.

Grandberry Park is easy to reach, and the overnight stay is very economical. From Minami-Machida station, take the weatherproof underpass to the hotel. The room was clean, with compact but adequate amenities, and there’s even a small business corner if you need one. Breakfast is included every time, with more variety and better quality than you might expect. It’s also a good fit for a road trip, since there’s a laundromat.

Grandberry Park is right by the hotel, with everything you might need just through the underpass. I also really appreciated the lobby microwave when I was feeling unwell near the end of my stay and wanted to heat up food in my room. The hotel itself is modern, the staff are very polite, and my room was surprisingly spacious. It’s a good value, though it’s a long way from central Tokyo and even farther from Narita. It makes more sense if you’re heading west toward Hakone or Fuji.

The room is on the small side, but it has everything you need. Breakfast was good, with plenty of Japanese options, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is only a year old, so it still feels brand new. The location is great too, right outside the train station.
