Really friendly staff, and they gave me lots of useful advice. They even drove me downtown to a restaurant for free. Nice hotel.

On a business trip, I stayed in the hotel building. My room had a unit bathroom and air conditioning, and was clean with no odor. Free parking made the stay comfortable. I heard the accommodation building has shared bathrooms and toilets. The whole building is new and clean, and the staff were helpful. There’s no elevator, so you change into slippers at the entrance locker and take the stairs to the upper floors. The keys are analog, though the door locks automatically, so take care not to leave your key inside. For the microwave and ice service, go to the first floor.

January 2026 I found this place while looking for an inexpensive, comfortable hotel near Tomakomai. Booking two months ahead brought the rate to just under ¥6,000. Apart from the bunk beds, the room felt like a standard business hotel. There was a slight smell, but I got used to it quickly and the noise didn’t bother me much. The restrooms were very clean. Footsteps echo in the hallways because of the floor material, so please walk considerately at night.

It’s dormitory-like, though you get a private room, and the price is reasonable. There’s a convenience store nearby, so finding something to eat or drink is easy. It’s not far from the station, making it a good budget option. There seemed to be lots of ferry passengers coming and going at night, so if you’re sensitive to noise, bring earplugs.
