The observation room has a great view, and on a clear day you can see downtown Osaka and KIX. I felt relaxed in the small open-air bath too, thanks to the mountain scenery and fresh air. Day use at the spa costs 700 yen. I’d come back after the renovation is finished.

The onsen is on the small side, with just one outdoor roten buro, and there were mostly older guests during my stay. The food was pretty good, and you get a panorama of Osaka. There’s an occasional pickup bus from Tondabayashi station on the Kiterltsu train, but no Nankai service, and it stops running around 4 PM.

Good for taking time to relax. The room was clean, though the place is a long way from the station.

A calm, peaceful onsen. I stopped here before my flight from the airport.

Getting here takes a bit of planning since it’s far from the station, and a taxi would cost quite a bit. Let the hotel know if you want to take the scheduled bus to the train station. It’s worth the effort: there’s an indoor and outdoor onsen, a massage chair you can use for free, a souvenir shop, and a comfortable room and bed with a view from the window. The buffet food was excellent, with drinks ranging from water to whisky.
