Business Hotel Sun Clock

The station is only about a 15-second walk away, which made this a nice place to stay. I forgot to take a room photo, but the room was cleaner and bigger than I expected. The washlet worked on and off, which was a bit annoying, and I wish the breakfast had been a little better, even though it’s free.

The staff were polite, but this left me very disappointed, and I don’t think I’ll stay here again. I’d called ahead after finding that only smoking rooms were available online. They told me there were non-smoking rooms and said changing rooms would be fine, so I checked in expecting that request to be handled. Instead, I was taken to a smoking room. When I told the front desk about the call, they said non-smoking rooms were fully booked and didn’t explain why I’d been told otherwise. I was eventually upgraded, but my request and the earlier confirmation clearly hadn’t been passed along.

There isn’t much free parking, but there are plenty of paid lots nearby, so finding somewhere to park shouldn’t be difficult. The air conditioning and heating only let you adjust the airflow. Even with the train tracks right outside, the hotel was quiet.

It’s convenient to have the station close by, and parking wasn’t a problem. Restaurants nearby are handy when you’re traveling with kids, though there are also a lot of adult-oriented shops around.
