There’s a 7-Eleven next door, so getting food was no problem, and the hotel is right beside a hot spring. I loved the morning bath (^-^). It’s fully air-conditioned and uses high-quality shampoos. I found the place really comfortable during my trip from Hokkaido. Check-in was a little complicated, but it didn’t stop this from being a great facility. I’ll stay here every time I travel to Aomori☆ Thank you!
The room was completely private, and I was glad I could use the hot springs. I didn’t use them, but there was also a microwave, electric kettle, washing machine, and even a kitchen.
You get two tickets for the hot spring next door, and free use of the washing machine is a nice bonus. The inside is plywood and the building is basically a shipping container, so I’d recommend it to people who don’t mind that.
Being able to step straight outside and get to my car was more convenient than I expected. The low-frequency noise, though, really carries, despite some reviews calling the place quiet. About once every 20 minutes during my stay, there was a loud bang from somewhere. It was probably cars, container doors closing, or cleaning at the hot springs until around 10 PM. I heard noises like trucks, though in this residential area you don’t actually hear trucks. At roadside container hotels, trucks can shake the room so badly that sleeping is impossible. Here, you don’t have to worry about truck noise. The room design and amenities seem pretty standard across the country: cheap chairs with no backs, a tiny fridge, small desk, and cold floors. The lowest temperature during my stay was 10 degrees, and it took about an hour for the flooring to warm up. The bathroom was freezing in the morning, and I imagine it’d be really unbearable in midwinter. Those backless chairs also make computer work extremely uncomfortable. If they fixed just that, I’d stay again. Another container hotel,
I stayed for about a week on a business trip in late October. The hot spring was a great plus, but the room felt a bit cold because of the building’s structure. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, and I couldn’t use it at all during my stay, which was very inconvenient.
