At 5000 yen a night, I’d happily stay here again. The room’s single bed is small by Western standards, but it was perfectly serviceable, and the free breakfast was quite decent, with Japanese and Western choices. You can also use the washers for free. The one thing it lacks is a large Japanese-style soaking pool, though that might be asking too much at this price. It’s surrounded by restaurants and izakaya, so there’s plenty to eat. The hotel is only a few minutes farther on foot from the station than the ones right beside it. Compared with better-known hotels in Japan, it’s an inexpensive business hotel.

I liked being able to choose how firm my pillow was, and the breakfast curry gets a good reputation. I thought it was a nice, simple curry for breakfast, and the breakfast overall is tasty. Go early, though, because there’s almost nothing left if you arrive late. At first it can look like they have no bread, but the rolls are on the right. The hotel is close to the station. The single rooms are compact but have most of what you need, and they’re small but fairly clean. Apart from the hairdryer and drinks, the walls between rooms seem a little thin. (May 2026)

The room was clean, and I had no particular complaints. It was good value for money. The bar and free breakfast were nice perks. The hotel is a little far from Toyama Station, and the location was hard to figure out by car. Parking is in a contracted lot next door.
