It’s a small, quiet, clean business hotel, fine for what it is, though it’s no Palace. I liked the friendly English-speaking reception, the rugby focus, and the homey breakfast. The location is convenient, almost right beside the train station. At 11,000 a night, I wondered if prices are rising in Japan. It might have been 6-8000 in the past, and I wonder whether that increase is only because of the rugby.

The location is good, the rooms are clean, and the lady on staff is so nice 😍👍

The best thing is the location, very close to two train stations. The room controls only let you set the AC, with no heater control. Wifi is very weak, disconnects, and is extremely slow. Breakfast choices are minimal, and the eating area is so small that you need to reserve a spot. Reservations can only be made the evening before. If you miss the chance, you’re stuck taking a small selection of presents back to your room.

The place is old and needs an update. One warning, don’t check in before 3 PM. I arrived at 2:15 PM, and they wanted an extra 1000¥ to let me into the room early.

The location is good, very near the train station, and the staff are good.
