Sanco Inn Toyota

I stay here regularly when I visit Toyota. The hospitality and food are good, and so on. The rooms are quite small, even for one person, and that’s the one thing that needs improvement.

The lobby is cool and packed with manga. I wish I’d had longer to browse. The location is good, with food on every corner. We asked to add another night, and the staff sorted it out quickly. On our last day, my key card didn’t recognize the updated schedule and wouldn’t open the room. The front desk fixed it right away. Everyone was friendly and efficient :)

It was a fun stay, with plenty of options. The room was small, as I expected, but clean. You can pick a pillow to suit your taste, and there’s a comic bar and free coffee. Breakfast was good too.

For what it costs, the room is pretty small and not very comfortable. The walls are thin enough that you can hear other people clearly, and loud guests can wreck your sleep. I was woken up a few times by other guests. The optional services are quite nice. Still, I don’t see why they need so many extras to make up for the basic experience that should have been there in the first place. Why not just get that right?
