The customer service was bad. The room was unclean and much too narrow.

It's right by the Joban line, with a direct train to Ueno Tokyo.

The breakfast buffet includes delicious kenchin soba, and the photo is just how I chose to serve mine, so sorry if it doesn't look very pretty. This is a typical business hotel right in front of the station, though it's a little back from the rotary and relatively quiet. Parking is free in the hotel's own open-air lot, not a mechanical garage, so getting in and out is easy. The room is average in size, with a fairly wide bed. I liked the bright LED ceiling light, which is like the kind in an ordinary home. I don't care for the dim lighting common in hotels.

All the staff were foreigners, and every one of them was very kind. The breakfast was good too. The bread came packaged, but each piece was wrapped separately to keep it from drying out, a thoughtful detail. This is a typical business hotel. The walls seemed thin, yet it wasn't noisy, perhaps because of the other guests. Women's access to the public bath is limited by the staggered schedule. There are nice extras in the entrance area, including bath salts and curling irons you can take to your room. The bath itself was disappointing, with 2-in-1 shampoo and no toner or lotion.
