The rooms all face the ocean, and in winter the rough water and high tides were fun to watch. I had a great first stay. The staff were attentive and so nice, the food was really good, and the baths were spacious. I loved every minute and would come back many times.

These pictures are from the top-floor suite. The Ryokan is definitely in the expensive range, but the location and food are top-class. If you've got spare money for a luxury stay, go for it.
