The front desk was useful for both local tips and help with the amenities. The hotel is close to the JR station and the major speedway, and parking in the attached lot was about 1000 yen a day. There was construction on the building exterior while we were there, but it caused us no noise or other problems.

It felt like a quaint home away from home, and the staff were welcoming and helpful even though the reception team spoke only a little English. There was free coffee, an ice machine and bucket, a washer and dryer, and plenty of pillows. Breakfast could use cereal. The free bikes would have been better with gears. The station is 1.4 km away, so we took a taxi to the hotel when we arrived late in the evening, then walked back when we left.

This APA was in line with the other APA hotels I've stayed at: clean, with a nice bed and a large TV, and close to the station. The corridors and rooms did have a slight cigarette smell, which could bother someone sensitive to it.

There are restaurants nearby, and the town shopping mall is an easy short walk if you want more places to eat. The hotel is also handy for the station: the bus to Mt Haguro leaves from the stop right in front of it.

The room was clean and had nice amenities, Wi-Fi, and VOD on a large TV, with both English and Japanese programs. The staff were nice, and it was a decent stay. Breakfast was the weak point, it needs more variety for the price.
