Green House

For five days I had a cozy local hostel to myself, basically paying for one room and getting the whole house since nobody else had booked. It has two rooms, gardens, a kitchen, laundry, and free wifi. The host was easy to reach and flexible. I booked on the morning I arrived, and he showed up on time and helped me get settled in about five minutes. The location was great: a five-minute walk to the nearest supermarket, right beside the Stateside Market, and about ten minutes on foot along the main road to a second hand clothes and toy shop.

What a beautiful house!

A great spot for a family holiday, with two bedrooms and a kitchen, and a very clean interior. The outdoor balcony and patio are inviting places to sit. The Minatogawa Foreigner Dormitory Area is right outside, with several good restaurants and shops, so it’s easy to take a leisurely walk and soak up the local atmosphere. I’d gladly return on another Okinawa trip. Check-in was in November 2025.

There’s plenty of room here, enough for at least six adults to stay comfortably, and the place was impeccably clean. I liked having a patio to relax on, plus a bathtub for a soak. The refrigerator and fully equipped kitchen made it possible to cook, and there’s a washing machine for laundry. Its drying function didn’t get the clothes completely dry, though. It was a comfortable, relaxing guesthouse, and I’d highly recommend it.
