Flexstay Inn Shin-Urayasu

There’s a free shuttle to Disneyland and Sea, though to get it back to the inn you have to first get to Disneyland. The room was clean and had the necessities, but while there was an electric stove, there were no pots or pans. On our second night we called for pillows; they were forgotten that night, but the front desk gave them to us right away when we followed up. At first I thought the station was far because we walked for 20 minutes at 2 a.m. Then we found a bus stop about two minutes from the inn. The bus from the station takes around four minutes to reach it, which was a lifesaver with luggage. Shin-Urayasu is 45-50 minutes by train from Odaiba, so this is a pretty good option if you want somewhere nearby. Also worth knowing, it’s part of the HOTEL MYSTAYS group of companies.

The room looked fine, but in one spot the floor felt like it was collapsing, and the bed was quite hard. Hard beds and pillows seem common in these cheap hotels. The hotel presents nicely from the outside and in the foyer, where hygiene items are available free for guests. It’s conveniently located for Disneyland and Sea, with a shuttle, but return buses were limited and late. They weren’t much use unless you stayed at the parks all day.

I was hotel hopping and spent one night in a regular room, which was dusty. For the rest of my October week, I upgraded to the more expensive room for only a few dollars more, and that was amazing. The room was a good size for two people. I’d stayed at two other Disney hotels during the trip. They looked great, but their A/C didn’t work. Here the A/C blew cold, which was perfect. I’d definitely stay again.

We left our luggage at the front desk on check-in morning and went straight to the parks. By the time we returned that night, it was already in our room. The staff were helpful and clearly dedicated to giving guests a great experience. A great choice for visiting Disney.
