Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Urayasu Mangekyo

I loved this onsen and can’t wait to return the next time I stay in Urayasu. It’s an easy walk from the Hyatt Regency, with a huge facility and wonderful indoor and outdoor baths. I went on a weekday, so it wasn’t crowded and I had much of the area to myself. It was cool and breezy, but whenever I got chilly, I could slip into the outdoor hot bath. Afterward I showered, got dressed, and looked around the rest of the place. There are several restaurants and a large lounge area. I had lunch there and tried tonkatsu curry rice for the first time on this Holiday. I really enjoyed it. Ordering was easy: I used a vending machine at the restaurant entrance and handed the ticket to the kitchen staff.

A fun family visit, with a cool playground for kids. You can use the indoor hot bath with your children, or wear a swimming suit in the warm outdoor bath. There are restaurants inside until 10PM, and you can book a room for the night. I’d rate it five stars for a personal visit, family friendliness, a couples’ date, and the services, meals, products, and design. Parking is free for five hours. We stayed 2-3 hours. Daytime entry is 1,800 yen for adults, or 1,030 yen after 6 pm.

A well-organized place with nice management, combining a JAPANESE TYPE HOT SPRING with an OUTDOOR HOT WATER WORLD. There’s ample parking next to this ONSEN, free for five hours. It’s great for families to spend time together and take pictures. Many Chinese style restaurants are available, and free water is provided almost everywhere inside.

I especially like alternating between the sauna and cold soak, and the natural spring water bath indoors is my favorite. All the baths are well kept. There are enough showers and spots in the dressing area that I haven’t had to wait, even on weekends and holidays. The restaurants have lots of dishes to try, plus snacks for when you want a break from the baths. I love this onsen!
