We booked "The Pool Room" at the Urayasu Brighton Hotel for my birthday on the 4th December. The room was spacious, with a bath running the length of it, and soaking while looking out over the city was so relaxing. We could see Skytree and Diamond and flower ferris wheel, and enjoyed the complimentary drinks and snacks in the room. Breakfast had a nice mix of Japanese and Western options, especially the French toast. The lobby looked beautiful with its Christmas decorations, and a lovely staff member checked us in quickly. Her English was very good, and she explained the room, breakfast, and everything else. We came from the Disney Resort by train, arriving around 20:40. There's a free Disney shuttle, but taking the train was easier for us, just one stop from Maihama station. The only downside was wishing we'd booked a longer stay.

We were able to walk to Shin-Uruyasu station under covered shelter the whole way, and there are an AEON mart and plenty of food and drink choices nearby. The hotel also runs a shuttle to Disneyland and Disney Sea straight from the lobby. Our room fit three people comfortably. The service and general feel reminded me of a Disney hotel, and the staff were kind and attentive. We stayed here before our Disneyland visit and would come back for a future trip to Disney Resort.

We had a very good dinner buffet, and the staff there were really nice. Our room was clean and roomy, and the staff looked after us well throughout the stay. They were kind and attentive, and we also made use of the shuttle to Disney. I'd stay here again.

The main drawbacks were mixed service, a limited breakfast that repeated daily, and no washer or dryer. Some staff were helpful, but others were neither friendly nor useful when we asked for assistance. It also wasn't as child friendly as the hotel next door. On the plus side, the rooms were large and had amenities, and the hotel was right beside the train station and shopping malls. The shuttle to Disney had convenient timings.

The hotel is affordable and well placed for exploring the city. Aeon Mall, with its grocery and large department store, is about a five-minute walk away, as is the Airport Limousine Bus Stop. Shin Urayasu Metro Station is also around five minutes on foot, with just one transfer to Tokyo station. There's a free shuttle to Disney Resorts too.
