Hotel Route-Inn Utsunomiya Yuinomori -Lightline Yuinomori Nishi-

The staff at the front desk were lovely, really friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable, especially the bed, though it wasn't very big. There's also a public bath, which is a nice extra, but it's on the small side. The hotel is a little way out of town, and there isn't a convenience store nearby, just a McDonald's.

I've stayed here three or four times and would come back again. The free shuttle to the nearby Honda Factory is handy for a business trip, and breakfast is included and better than what I usually expect at a Japanese business hotel. There's also a traditional Japanese bath hall with hot water, though it's not a hot spring. For a business hotel, it's really not bad.

A clean, modern place that's convenient for business trips. It also works well if you're staying near the golf courses.

The Ueda cutlet curry I had at the hotel restaurant was delicious. The hall looked beautiful too, as you can see in the photo. I didn't have enough time to try the public bath, which was a pity.
