Super Hotel Utsunomiya

The price is quite reasonable. The walls are a little thin, though, and I could hear the person next door having a sneezing fit.

For what it costs, I expected more. The room was small, the bed wasn't comfortable, and other hotels offer more for less. They should do better.

A clean, inexpensive place that works well for business trips. There's a hot spring here too.

The breakfast buffet was small, but there was enough to eat, and I found the room cleaner and more spacious than I expected. I was in town for fandom activities and chose this hotel because it's less than a ten-minute walk from the station. There was one large shared bath, with men and women switching times, so I couldn't fit a visit in this time. The keypad entry meant no room key and no checkout procedure, which was handy, though you're supposed to put a checkout sign outside the door. I also used the Times car share in the apartment building next door, which made getting around easy. I'd stay here again if I get the chance.
