Breakfast was delicious and came with a lovely sea view. It ran around 7 to 8 a.m., and was well worth having. We drove along the coast, which made getting around convenient, and arrived quite late. The beautiful room faced the ocean and had a terrace and its own bathtub, though there was no onsen. The staff were very kind and friendly, even if their English wasn't very strong. I'd come back to Wakayama just to stay here again.

The restaurant was the biggest letdown. Breakfast is served for only half an hour, from 7:30 - 8:00, and dinner has just three items with little flexibility. We asked for something vegetarian and got a firm 'No'. Still, the hotel itself is beautiful and secluded enough for a quiet recharge. The room is huge, with a lovely view straight onto the beach, and the staff are attentive and friendly.

The food and drink service could be better. Breakfast is only available from 7:30-8:00, and there are no vegetarian dinner options at all. Otherwise, the place is right by the shore and close to a beach, with a spacious, clean room. They clean the room every third day, but bring fresh towels and collect the trash daily.

I had a wonderful stay with my parents. There were three of us in the room, and my sofa bed was really comfortable. I'm vegetarian, and they kindly arranged a vegetarian set breakfast for me. Even the makeshift version was delicious, and it felt like they really cared. The room had both outdoor and indoor slippers, plus an amazing automatic bathtub with a great sea view. The sea is right outside the hotel backdoor, and we watched the sunrise from our bedroom. Highly recommend! We took a taxi from JR Wakayama station for around 3500 yen. They seem to offer a shuttle bus at certain times, but there wasn't one when we went on New Year's Eve.

The staff and service were great, and the food was excellent. Our spacious room was clean and well designed, with really nice scenery. We strongly recommend staying here.
