This is an older hotel, and the room was big enough. The air conditioning is centrally controlled, though, so you can't choose warm or cool air yourself. If you get cold, you have to go down to reception and ask for an electric heater.

I was disappointed that breakfast was fully booked, since I'd been looking forward to it. The hotel did help when I needed to extend my stay at short notice, though, and arranged it that same day. The facilities are dated, but the unit bath felt roomy enough to relax in. It was an inexpensive business hotel, with convenience stores, restaurants, and drugstores close by.

The bed was hard, and the hotel is on the older side. Still, it seems fine for a business trip. It's around a five-minute walk from Minami-Wakkanai Station, with a larger and more convenient Tsuruha nearby than Secoma.

There are a Seicomart and restaurants close by, and the price may work out well depending on what you need. Minami-Wakkanai Station is a few minutes away on foot; Wakkanai Station is next door, with quite a few buses going there. The building is somewhat old but clean and maintained. Rooms are spacious, while the unit-bath bathroom feels a bit small. To me, it's a regular business hotel, despite some of the harsh reviews.
