We stopped here on the drive back to Chiba from Kyoto, and it made the trip much easier. It’s by the interchange exit and entrance, with a grocery store nearby. They let us into our room early, and breakfast was included. The place was clean and the service was good.

On the first day of a four-day, three-night motorcycle trip from Kansai through Shinshu to see the autumn leaves, I stayed here on my way to Mt. Fuji. It’s right after the Yaizu Interchange, which made the location very convenient, and the staff were helpful. The next day I had a pleasant ride from Yaizu around Mt. Fuji and toward Lake Suwa. I’d like to stay here again next time. 😊😉

The food was average, though they kept replenishing it. The building is old, but the staff were spotless! I appreciated how considerate and polite everyone was, and they always greeted me. It’s right in front of the Yaizu Interchange, so getting in and out can be awkward. Going via the river behind the hotel lets you exit either way.

At the Hotel Route Inn on Hamamatsu Dealer Street, I had a comfortable stay. This hotel was a completely different experience, and I was very disappointed. The room smelled so musty that I worried about my health while I was in it. When I asked for a receipt, reception refused, and no one explained how to use the vending machine coins.
