Our traditional-style room looked out toward the ocean, though trees partly blocked the view. The hotel is older, but it was clean and the staff were friendly. We could use the pool and onsen, and a simple breakfast of bread, juice, and coffee was included.

For business hotel prices, being able to stay here feels like a great deal. The room was roomy, clean, and reasonably quiet. You can't bathe outdoors, but the large public bath does look out at the sea. Breakfast is free and limited to bread and drinks, still, it's better than nothing.

From the large bath I could see the moon clearly, and the sauna was clean. The hotel itself feels dated, but it had a good range of alcoholic welcome drinks, and I enjoyed the chocolate fondue too. I was only there for about half a day, without meals, yet on a sunny day I could hear the sea and see Mt. Fuji from the great location. It's between Yaizu/Ogawa Port and the Oi River, so anyone nervous about earthquakes may not feel comfortable here.
