The host was lovely, and there was loads of room. Everything was really clean. The bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away, and buses from there go everywhere. Loved it.

After finishing our trek, we could come straight to the inn and unwind for the evening. We were two women on a whirlwind two-day trip to Yakushima and stayed just one night, but the amenities were great and it felt like home. We went to a nearby hotel's bath, then found a sushi place close by because we wanted to try kibinago (small fish). The owner and staff were all so kind (^o^). We were really glad we chose this place and would love to stay again.
The bathroom was roomy, comfortable, and high-end, just right for a relaxing soak after a hike. There’s plenty of parking outside, too. The owner was very friendly, and the dog is adorable! The Golden Retriever lives in another house, so you need to ask the owner before they bring it out to play. I’d happily stay here again on my next Yakushima trip and visit the dog again~~~ Highly recommended!
Getting to Jomon Cedar from here is convenient, and they can deliver your hiking lunch. The owner and his wife were very kind.
It was reassuring that the place was limited to women, couples, and families, and the amenities were good. We stayed two nights, over three days, and the location worked well for visiting Jomon Cedar. Having our lunch boxes delivered was convenient. After trekking on checkout day, they kindly let us use the bath even though we’d already checked out, which helped a lot. We’d stay here again if we get the chance to return to Yakushima.
