The owner was very kind and helped me out in all sorts of ways. I stayed on my own for three comfortable days, but I think it would be even nicer with family or friends. Having a separate bathroom and toilet, plus a kitchen and washing machine in the room, made it feel like my own place.

The owner was incredibly kind, and we had a wonderful trip around Yakushima 😃✌️ My two-year-old son was thrilled to meet the resident poodle and the free-roaming chickens 🎵

The portions are quite large, and even someone who usually eats lightly might find them a challenge. The owner's eggs come from locally raised chickens, and he takes great care over them.

The owner is a wonderful person. I learned a lot from him about what makes Yakushima special.
