Pension BLUE DROP

The fish Yuki’s husband caught that day went into some excellent dinner options. This little pension is in a great location, with cute rooms, and Yuki is a wonderful host. She made it easy to communicate with her thanks to her excellent English, and helped with everything like a concierge as well as hosting us. It felt safe, but also like being on the other side of the world. Extra points for Yuki’s attitude and service.

Yuki was so kind and generous when we ran into travel trouble, and she was very understanding. She also sorted out a car for us and helped us find a good ferry to yakushima. Thanks again, Yuki!

Yuki made our four nights at Pension Blue Drop feel special. She greeted us with a smile whenever we saw her, suggested places to visit, and helped with ferry tickets and car rental. She also prepared tasty breakfast and lunch boxes for our hikes in Yakushima’s beautiful forests. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was clean and roomy too. The shampoo smelled great, the washing machine got our clothes clean, and the beds were comfortable even for tall people. The location worked perfectly for exploring the island. We’d definitely come back to Yuki’s place.

Yuki was so kind and welcoming, and even helped book our car and sort out the next rental in Kagoshima. That’s real customer service. The house is cozy and has what you need. We ate dinner at the pension once, and it was delicious, with fresh fish and tasty garden vegetables. It felt like high-end restaurant quality. I’d stay again. Thank you, Yuki!
