Everything was clean, and I slept really well in the comfortable bed with a view of Mount Fuji. I’d have liked English instructions for using the sauna, and the recycling bins beside my bed weren’t ideal. I’d come back again.

We enjoyed staying here, and the location is great. The fridge was set to 6, the coldest setting, and we didn’t notice until morning, so all our breakfast food had frozen. We also found the Jacuzzi confusing: the water was cold and took a while to heat up. The sauna took time to get ready too, and it was pretty dark inside.

It was quite comfortable, and there’s room even for a family of four or five. The barbecue area is nice.

We came by car, though it looks like express buses and other transport are within a ten-minute walk. Three of us stayed for one weekend night in a room meant for five, but I’d say three adults is the limit. It’s very cramped, though fine if you’re there to have a lively time. The room was clean, with enough space to sleep and a little extra, while the kitchen was extremely small. Outside, the BBQ area was spacious, and they provided firelighters, wood and charcoal. There were two or three lighters, but some didn’t work. I liked the tent sauna because it didn’t get as hot as a permanent one. Based on our stay, I’d recommend it for same-sex groups, families or couples. I’d seen quite a few mixed opinions in the reviews, so those are my own impressions.
