It feels like home here, very comfortable and spacious, and very Japanese. The place is clean and well lit, and it’s convenient for the train station. The kitchen is large enough to make breakfast for any number of people. The guest house manager was the most helpful and considerate I’ve dealt with.
6/10
The rooms have plenty of space, but the shared areas are inconvenient, and there’s only a shower, no bathtub. For the high price, I thought the service was poor. The cafe menu was decent, about average. This place combines a cafe and hotel: you check in at the cafe, then go on to your room. The farthest rooms are around a 15-minute walk away, which could be inconvenient depending on where yours is.
10/10
The room and the cafe where you check in are in separate places, but both are conveniently near Ishikawacho Station. I was given a ticket for a nearby public bath and got to enjoy a relaxing soak.
6/10
A coffee shop where you can get craft beer too.
