The capsule hotel is in the basement of Breez Bay Hotel. Just enter the bay hotel's lobby, the receptionist is the same, so don't worry, you're in the right place 😄. I stayed in the deluxe room and slept well. They also have a pool, but I arrived late and couldn't swim because it closes at 9pm. Worth trying!
The location is great, and they have a public bath, lockers, and essential amenities. But I couldn't relax enough to sleep well. Visitors kept coming and going, talking and packing in the middle of the night, and I woke up several times. There's no separate floor for men and women. I only stayed one night and had trouble finding the place because there wasn't a visible signboard. The entrance is shared with breeze bay hotel, but the capsule hotel is on B1.
It feels like one of Japan's earliest capsule hotels, in the basement of Breeze Bay hotel. It's near Sakuragicho station, and I could swear I felt the earth move when trains came and went. The elevator sounds eerie when it's running. Men and women share the same floor, though the men's and women's wash areas are separate. There are 17 private 'cubby-hole' rooms called dorm room, narrow az, with single beds either above or below, apparently a lottery. They have concertina doors and curtains for privacy. Another 20 shared cubby-holes have upper and lower beds. Each room has a small Casio TV. The two women's toilets were clean.
The service was pretty good. It's a nice place, though as a non-Japanese guest I found the rules a little hard to understand at first.
I was surprised by how nice the place was, and the international breakfast came included and tasted great.
