I'd definitely stay at this guest house again.

The house is well equipped and worked for our family of five. Check-in was simple, even though the location is a bit remote. The outdoor facilities were adequate, but rain could affect their use, and there were lots of mosquitoes at night. 👍🏻

Okada Shoten & Kimura Fresh Fish Store Yonago Munakata branch is about 15-20 minutes away by car. It has an amazing amount of locally sourced fish and vegetables, and our BBQ was fantastic! The barbecue area can be used until 9 PM. You do need to be considerate of nearby homes when disposing of food waste, so it worked well for a family trip or gathering with adults. Inside, there are three bedrooms of a good size, a clean bathroom, a common area, two refrigerators, and a TV with YouTube. It was very convenient. Outside there's a barbecue grill, with dishes, tongs, charcoal, insect repellent, and mosquito coils provided. For some reason, we didn't encounter many mosquitoes either. Check-in and check-out are handled on a dedicated tablet, so the timing is flexible. If you need to call with a question, they respond courteously, which made the stay feel comfortable and independent. The main downside is that the route there and the entrance are a little hard to find, haha.

We spent two very pleasant nights here, and my family was so happy. Thanks for giving us such lovely memories ❤️ The whole-house rental was reasonably priced, about 8,000 per night for us, though the rate changes by season. It's a quiet, pleasant area, but shops are only a 3-5 minute drive away, so having a car is best. We were four adults and two children in one car. The parking space should fit two small cars, but with larger vehicles, one car may be safer. There's plenty to do outside: a barbecue area with spotlights and charcoal, a mini golf practice hole, and a tea-making area. We saw lots of insects and even insect-catching nets. The kids were thrilled to see a praying mantis 😆. It happened to rain, but luckily it didn't last long. There are umbrellas outside. The house is pretty clean, though a few small insects and ants are to be expected. We didn't see cockroaches. Insecticide and other supplies were provided. Pet supplies were there too, although we didn't bring a pet, and the place seemed pet-friendly. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and everything else we needed. There's a capsule coffee machine Mom would love, along with sake and coffee cups. We used the outdoor barbecue on the first evening, then an indoor portable gas stove and electric grill on the second. Seafood fans should buy some to cook 🍳. There was also an electric grill and cooking area inside. An older gentleman showed us how to use the room when we arrived. He spoke Japanese, but we got the general idea. The tablet had a Chinese option for entering passport information. There's a washing machine downstairs, so no need to worry about having enough clothes to change into. The downstairs bathroom has a bathtub the kids could play in. Toilets are on both floors, with two downstairs: a bathroom and shower area, plus a separate toilet. Just be careful, the downstairs toilet can lock from inside if you're not careful 😅. Luckily, my husband knew how to open it. There are four rooms upstairs, all with tatami mats, and one toilet. One room seems to be used for storing bedding and has no nightlight. The others are regular rooms, and one is especially large, probably enough for six people. Ten people could easily rent the entire place.

I definitely want to come back. The private glamping place at the foot of Mt. Daisen was luxurious, clean, and well kept. The garden is spacious, with a turf barbecue deck and a complete set of gear, including charcoal, grill, and chairs. The terrace deck was excellent too, and there's a dog run. The garden is large enough for a putting green. The first floor has a roomy living area with a big sofa, TV, sunken kotatsu table, and regular table. The kitchen has a microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator, induction grill, full dish set, portable gas stove, seasonings, and a barista machine. There's also a large bathroom with plenty of amenities, a washroom, and a toilet. Upstairs are four spacious Japanese-style rooms, each with its own air conditioning. Having another toilet and washroom on that floor was very convenient. The place sleeps up to 8. Parking fits three cars, or two if they're large. Check-in and check-out are done with the provided tablet. They also supply alcohol disinfectant, a non-contact thermometer, first-aid kit, and sewing kit. Wi-Fi made it a great spot for online meetings and work, and there's a fax machine and multifunction printer too.
