Hotel Frontier Yonago

The location is right by the station, with convenience stores and ramen shops nearby, so finding something to eat was easy. The foreign staff were very kind. Good value on a low budget, with good QSC. Thanks for helping me during the Obon period.

I stayed here while visiting Tottori. The room was a bit dated, but clean and had what I needed. To open the lock, turn the key while pushing it in. Checking out was simple too, just leave the key in the box in front of reception.

For a room without meals right across from the station, I was very satisfied with the price. The room was clean and comfortable, though I was surprised that turning the key also switched on the lights. Parking is behind the hotel, and cars have to be parked starting from the back. The front desk is on the second floor, which makes carrying luggage upstairs a bit of a hassle.

The room was fairly roomy and comfortable, with firm twin beds. Turning the key switches on the room’s main power, which seems to control everything. The bathroom felt cramped, and the bidet needs to be adjusted by hand. I couldn’t tell what one of the switches was for, maybe the air conditioner. I could hear footsteps from upstairs and noise from the neighboring room, which bothered me a little. It’s close to the station and reasonably priced. The parking is behind the hotel, through the open atrium on the first floor, and there seemed to be space for around 10 cars. The lobby is on the second floor, so the stairs could be tough if you have a lot of luggage. I got the room key quickly after check-in, though the elevator is narrow and barely fits two people with their luggage.
