The onsen was a big letdown. It’s open to the public and was pretty noisy. Our room was narrow and laid out strangely, and the dinner wasn’t that good either. We had to walk five minutes to another ryokan for it. Breakfast disappointed me too. They served crab, but I’m not really into crab in the morning. We paid ¥33,000 for a twin room with dinner and breakfast, and I definitely didn’t think it was worth the money.

The hotel has been renovated and has modern amenities, and my stay was really comfortable. The rooms were spacious and bright, and the hot spa was good. The breakfast and dining restaurant were mediocre. I didn’t try the seafood restaurant.

We came in a rental car, so the large free car park right in front was great. You can get to the sea easily even without a sea-view room, and the walk along the shore was lovely. The sunset was beautiful too. There’s a microwave for heating up a quick meal, and Lawson is about 250 m away. You can wear yukata in different designs around the hotel at no extra charge. Access to the onsen bath is included, and it helped ease the travel fatigue.

There’s free parking on site, and your stay includes unlimited use of the onsen. The hotel is right on the beach, and the rooms blend Western and Japanese styles nicely, with comfortable beds and a Japanese-style sitting area. In the twin rooms, there’s a USB port and power outlet between the beds, plus more outlets under the seating area table. A great onsen hotel.

One of the nicest hotels we stayed at in Japan. It felt luxurious without costing too much. The staff were very polite and helpful, and yukata in lots of designs were provided. We enjoyed breakfast with a sea view, though the food itself was so-so and only worth it for the price. Get a sea-view room if you can. There’s a huge car park right out front, which is handy for people driving. The onsen is open to the public, so you might share it with lots of locals, but they’re friendly and polite. There isn’t much nearby beyond a beach walk, and they let you take coffee out after bread.
