The beach nearby is lovely for a romantic walk, and the area works well for running or cycling too. From the restaurant on the 9th floor, the view of Mt. Daisen is stunning. Breakfast and service were exceptional. I’d definitely recommend this Ryokan Onsen Hotel.

The manager saw my friend and me taking photos and warmly asked to join us. Her smile reminded me of my grandma, and that made me so happy. All the staff seemed to care about what we needed, what we felt like eating, and how we were doing. Their hospitality made being in Japan feel like being at home. It was a really touching stay.

The onsen was small but pleasantly uncrowded, and having dinner brought to our room worked well with our children and baby. The hotel also provided a baby bath and other useful products. Staff were kind, and there are convenience stores nearby. It’s an okay place for a family stay, with views of Daisen mountain and the Japan sea. The kaiseki dinners varied: the first night was okay, while the second was great.
