This was terrifying. At 10 pm, I saw a man sleeping in the hallway and asked the front desk to deal with it. Nothing happened until 11:50, when I asked them to call the police. I had to use Google Translate to say, “Floor 3, someone is sleeping in the hallway,” because nobody could understand English. A staff member came by and said a few words, but the man kept sleeping there and nothing was resolved. As far as I could tell, the hotel has no system to stop people who aren't staying there from coming and going. They seemed not to care how it looked to have a grown man sleeping in the hallway.

Just two minutes from Yonago train station and five minutes from Aeon supermarket. The rooms are well appointed, dinner and breakfast are free and delicious, and the staff are humble. Best hotel.

A cockroach was crawling on the bed. They moved me to another room, but that one looked dirty too. The whole thing ruined my dotori trip, and I couldn't sleep at all. Terrible.

It felt like a hotel on its last legs. Everything looked old and depressing, and the tobacco smell was everywhere, even in the toilet. The toilet odor actually reminded me of one in a nightclub. It was the only room left in the area, so I felt stuck with it. I should've slept in my car.
