Yonago Washington Hotel Plaza

I booked one night at the last minute and found the room quite clean and perfectly okay, despite reviews calling it dated. The big window gave me a lovely sunset view, and the location couldn't be closer to the station. The staff deserve a thank you too: the receptionist who checked me in spoke fluent English, and the one who helped with an evening issue was especially kind and helpful.

When heavy rain suddenly stopped train service, I stayed here because it's right across from the station. The room wasn't too small, but it was dusty and had a strange smell, which bothered my tightened respiratory tract. The lobby and rooms all feel like they're from the 1990s. It's cheap and could suit someone on a budget, but I prefer newer hotels with more technology and amenities, so I wouldn't stay again.

The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner wasn't working properly, though, so it got very warm. Luckily I could sleep with the window open.

The staff and manager at reception were very polite, and it was nice to stay here for a short visit. Yonago Station is right across the road. Rooms are small, but have amenities and are affordable. There's no room service, and the food in the breakfast hall is costly. Paid laundry is available, as are a wedding hall, a winding machine, free WiFi, and movies on demand.
