Kawamoto Villa garden

We stayed from September 24th to 25th, 2025, and I’ll remember the experience for a long time. This spacious, comfortable Japanese-style luxury home was clean and fully equipped, something rarely found in Taiwan. Sunlight filled the house during the day, and from the living room the elegant Japanese garden was wonderfully relaxing. There’s a cypress bath indoors and an open-air hot spring pool outside, where we could look up at the stars at night. I’d definitely come back if I get the chance.

There’s an open-air hot spring and they provide towels for the number of guests. The yard outside is quite large and looks like a great place for a barbecue. There’s also a washing machine and a parking lot. Inside, the accommodation is spacious enough to sleep ten, and it looked just like the owner’s photos. I wish I’d stayed a few more days. Just take it slowly if driving there at night, since it’s very dark and the roads are narrow.

Compared with places in Taiwan, this felt incredibly cheap. The rooms are spacious and top-notch, and indoor and outdoor hot springs and all sorts of amenities are included. The outdoor hot spring doesn’t have a great view, though the privacy is nice. I’d stay here again if I get the chance.

The host was easy to reach online and quick to help sort out any issues. We were very satisfied with this family stay. The room was comfortable and spacious, with all the appliances we needed, including a washer and dryer. Sunlight coming into the room during the day was lovely, and there were both indoor and outdoor tubs. It was near the station and fairly close to Kinrin Lake. A wonderful experience, thank you! 🙏👍
