The rooms at Maryland are clean and have mosquito nets, which is a real help in this warm climate where mosquitoes can be a nuisance. It’s a lovely, peaceful spot in the Milimani neighbourhood. The passing tuktuks provide a free wake-up call now and then.

About 600 metres from the Nairobi road, off the Kachok roundabout, it’s a nice place to get away and unwind. You could stay the night, share a good meal with loved ones, or just relax here.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the food is great. A good spot to relax when you’re away from home.

I really like the Kienyeji chicken, and the drinks are affordable. The atmosphere is good too, with very friendly staff.
