The staff were the highlight for me, so friendly and attentive, and always ready to lend a hand. I slept really well on the incredibly comfortable mattress, and the rooms have lovely interiors. The food was delicious too, every meal felt like a treat. Such a cozy little hotel, I’d happily come back.

From the outside, you wouldn’t guess how lovely it is inside. The food was good, and the staff were so friendly. They brought heaters for my father and me on a cold night, then kept the things we’d accidentally left after checkout until we returned for them. I’d recommend it wholeheartedly.

Once you’re inside, it’s a great place to stay in the Kapenguria area, with clean, spacious rooms, good food, and friendly service. Finding it can be a little tricky, and the exterior doesn’t look especially welcoming. There’s some noise, as you’d expect in a crowded area, but it wasn’t bad. I’d stay again and recommend it to others.

Ann made us feel like part of her family, and Wesley was incredibly helpful too. Sophie’s Garden Hotel was clean and quiet, with amazing staff. We had a great stay.
