For the price, this is incredible value. The rooms are spacious and clean, though a bit dated, and the pool and gardens are great. It’s very peaceful. Food options are limited, but if you’re hungry they can make chicken, beef, rice, chips, ugali, or an omelette. There aren’t shops right nearby, but you can walk or take an Uber or Bolt. The beach is the same, and the big hotels nearby have plenty of good food.

I spent six days here with my family, and the food, rooms, and staff were all wonderful. Sarah, Emily, and the chef gave us lovely service. The two watchmen came whenever we called, and the cleaning staff helped make our stay hospitable. May you all live long and never lack.

Believe me, this place doesn’t exist. It’s a ghost hotel. The phone number goes straight to someone’s personal number. I booked two nights and kept confirming, but after I got to Sgr, the man I’d spoken to about directions stopped responding. I took an Uber toward the hotel, only to find that it wasn’t there. The boda boda drivers around there had never heard of it. The Google Maps pin leads to an empty, unfinished plot beside some beach apartments. Be warned.

The garden is really beautiful, and the sunrise is wonderful. It’s a lovely place to spend a night or two, and the breakfast is heavenly.
