Interhouse Karakol

Plenty of room outside and inside, with a fully equipped kitchen. The beds and blankets were great too. Amazing spot, highly recommend.

We used the hostel as our base for four days, leaving our backpacks there while we went trekking around Karokol. It was a really pleasant stay and a good-value hostel for backpackers. The host, 'Arstan', was friendly and helpful, and gave us ideas and recommendations for things to do around Karokol. He speaks fluent English too 😜🤩. I highly recommend staying here when you're in Karokol.

Arstan and his family are lovely. I spent hours chatting with Arstan and learned a lot about Kyrgyzstan, and he even told me to help myself to the garden cherries. They also let my friend pay just for a shower when her own place didn't have one. I'll definitely come back to try the Russian bath. The hostel is comfy, clean, and has a lovely garden, parking, and a big, well-equipped kitchen and dining area. There's a Russian sauna bath, plenty of toilets and showers so there's no waiting, and the hot water has good pressure. The staff are the nicest you'll meet.

The girls who run this hostel make you feel right at home, and they're very helpful whenever you have questions. It's a perfect place to stay in Karakol, with a lovely garden, a large kitchen, and great facilities. The hostel is really clean too.
