We ended up staying six nights because we were enjoying ourselves so much. The place was super clean, and the ladies were lovely, polite, and helpful with any information we needed. They made us feel at home, so we cooked them traditional food from our country to show how grateful we were. We definitely recommend it. Zoe & Alex

The worst part was having almost no privacy. My room was beside the entrance, and the curtains were see-through, so people entering or leaving, and probably anyone in the bus station courtyard, could see inside. One night, while I was nearly naked because of the heat, the owner came in without knocking and demanded that I turn off the air conditioner. She stayed there while I searched for the remote. On the last night they tried the door again, and I heard them unlocking it in time to cover up. Then they said I owed extra money because they'd forgotten the “booking fee.” I felt completely violated. The heat made everything miserable. The air conditioner wouldn't go below 26 degrees without breaking, and I was sweating constantly and barely sleeping. Power was out during the day for the last few days. Maybe that wasn't the hotel's fault, but I wish they'd warned me if it was planned. I went three days without a shower or a way to wash my clothes, and worried about smelling bad whenever I went out. The shared toilets were usually disgusting. One day, while I had food poisoning, they were being worked on and I had to leave to find another toilet. Getting there was a mess too. The Booking location wasn't accurate, and they sent the “real” address only after I booked. That address was wrong as well, so after taking a taxi from the airport I ended up on the other side of the city. A local Samaritan helped me find the place, thankfully. Since it's a small city, it only cost me time and a few extra dollars. The hotel is also as far from the center as it can be, despite people saying the location is great. The WiFi was free, but the signal in the room was terrible. I moved the desk right by the door just to get a weak connection, and it still kept dropping. The owner and/or her family stayed up all night, often with visitors, talking loudly, which made it even harder to sleep. On my first day, the owner pulled me into an interview with a TV company. I knew nothing about the hotel and was already frustrated, so I basically ended up lying to them. I don't usually write reviews this harshly, but I hate this place. Don't stay here.

We spent a week here. The rooms were clean and roomy, breakfast was perfect, and the location was ideal. There were little snacks available all day, and the quiet outdoor area was a lovely spot to sit with a beer or relax. Best of all was the host and her family's kindness and cheerful attitude. They were always looking out for us or offering help. We recommend it 100% ❤️

We were only at the hotel for one night, but stayed in touch for several days. The owner was such a friendly, helpful host: she arranged a taxi and mountain yurts, exchanged money, and helped us cross the border. The room was bright and clean, with air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean too, with a hot shower and Western-style toilet. Breakfast was tasty, especially the best bread we had in Kyrgyzstan. I can highly recommend the place, and the owner in particular.

Meergul, the manager, is a lovely woman and the main reason we enjoyed this place so much. She was helpful and made us feel at home. We stayed twice during our three weeks in Kyrgyzstan, and it was one of the nicest places we visited. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the common room was comfortable and pleasant. Breakfast was very good, and the coffee was great. We'd definitely stay again if we return to Osh.
