The staff were extremely friendly, especially the daytime supervisor, and the service really went above and beyond. We bought mangoes at the market, and they kindly cut them for us. There’s a great pool, and the AC and hot water worked well, with a fridge in the room. They told us the $20-per-night rooms were unavailable when we arrived, so we took one at $35 a night. The interior was comparable to a four-star place, while the service felt five-star by Canadian standards. Worth the price if your budget allows.

The rooftop Sky Bar has a varied menu and is a great spot for a cocktail or evening meal. This is a lovely modern hotel at a reasonable price, centrally located, with clean, spacious rooms and friendly staff. There’s also a large pool for the kids.

The rooms are spacious, the beds very comfortable, and the staff helpful. But there’s no spa yet, and no massages on site either. Cocktails aren’t available until 5 PM, so you’ll need to get drinks elsewhere if you want some by the pool earlier. The hot water ran out after a short time, and advertised drinks like frappes weren’t served. For the price and what was advertised, I was disappointed.

The staff are very friendly, and both the surroundings and the room are good. It was our first visit to Ratanakiri, and we chose this hotel. Very good overall.
