Pomme Hostel

I planned to stay one night at Pomme and ended up staying two. Amrith was incredibly kind and gave me great ideas for spending my second day in Battambang, which turned out to be completely worth it. Thanks again for such a good time. The full-day Battambang tour with Tony was great and worth the price. Pomme is well located, with a warm welcome from friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant's dishes were very good and fairly priced compared with nearby places. The decor is lovely and the atmosphere cozy. For a private room, the value was excellent, and the toilets and showers were clean. I highly recommend Pomme.

The half-day trip to the Bamboo train, caves and other places was great. At the hotel, the staff were friendly and really helpful. My room was small, and the air conditioning wasn't very strong, though the fan had plenty of power. The bathrooms were clean, the shower pressure was good, and the WiFi stayed pretty steady.

The tour was the best part for us. Sam was incredible on our half-day trip to the caves, explaining the history and sharing his own account of the pain Cambodians went through. He's a lovely man, speaks English and French, and we absolutely recommend him. We had a private room, the cheapest we've found in Asia so far. It came with towels, a brand-new fan and AC, and we even got a bit chilly overnight after the heat of the day. The several showers and toilets were spotless. Lovely stay! P.S. Try the kampot pepper ice cream next door, it's insane!!!

I slept really well in the clean, cozy room. The lighting was so dim that reading or writing was hard, but that's a small thing. The restaurant had really good food and a nice atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I booked a cooking class and had a great time. Highly recommend :)
