The staff were especially helpful: at 11pm they fixed an air-conditioning unit that wasn’t quite working, which I really appreciated. We stayed at Blue Guest House for two nights and found it clean and comfortable. It’s right in the heart of Battambang, a great place to stay at a good price, and I’d recommend it.

We were happy staying at this considerate family guest house. The staff were extra nice, and the four-bed dorm wasn’t crowded, which made it comfortable. The rooftop was a great bonus for resting, working, or having a drink, which you can order even if it isn’t listed. The city is dusty, so house shoes for guests would help keep the floor clean. It’s a small business still developing, so please be patient and feel free to help them improve. I recommend it!

The dorms were spacious, with curtains and personal lights on the beds. The air conditioning worked well, the bathrooms were clean with hot running water, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It wasn’t a very social hostel, and the rooftop bar area wasn’t operating. They do serve food, but you have to order at reception. I had a pleasant stay, and the walk-in rate is cheaper than booking online. I’ve seen the bad reviews here and on Hostelworld, but honestly don’t understand them.

We had such a great stay at Blue Guest. Andy looked after us so well as our tour guide, and felt more like a friend than a guide. He showed us all the best spots in Battambang, shared loads of information, and made it a really fun day. Highly recommend him!

The staff made us feel so welcome. My friends and I stayed in a dorm, and the beds were really comfortable. It was quiet, with fans in the rooms. They also have breakfast, trips, and scooters for $7 a day. Everyone was so kind. I’d happily recommend it! Anna ☀️
