The courtyard and pool area are spacious, clean and lovely. Staff were kind, and when I left some things on the train they called the station to help me. My room was comfortable, the bed was clean and the water hot. Breakfast's French toast was yum, and street food stalls are only a short walk away. I'd stay again.

A chilled place with very nice staff and a decent location. My room was very large, maybe too large, and had a private balcony with a nice view where I could smoke. I can't remember whether the air conditioning worked well, and I have a feeling there wasn't any. Breakfast was included, but for me it was only coffee and a meagre bowl of muesli. There was a pool, though the signs made it look as if you had to pay to use it. I was there for only three nights and appreciated that the hotel respected my Do Not Disturb sign. Changing everything daily would have been a waste of resources, since I don't do that at home either. The room could've been cleaner, and the bath/shower was in the wrong position, but staff moved it back after I mentioned it. A bit odd, perhaps something a past guest had done. There was a power point above the bed, one of the few, which was handy for charging my phone while I slept. Recommend it if you want a relaxed spot. 4.1/5.

We planned on a week and ended up staying a second one. The hotel was lovely and clean, and the manager and assistants were excellent, always willing to help. They're a real credit to the place. The pool area was lovely and the pool boy kept it clean. Spa treatments were great and reasonably priced too. The one letdown was drinks: there were no options apart from cans of beer, and a couple of cocktails by the pool would've been nice. Maybe that was because it was low season. We'd highly recommend the hotel.

We spent four nights here, and it wasn't a good stay. The first night the air conditioning was broken, though they fixed it. It failed again on the second night. We were offered another room, but spotted a large mouse in the corner after five minutes and switched again. That next room was fine. Most of the staff don't speak English, but they do try. They mostly sit around, then stand up and act busy when they see you. Breakfast has three menu options, which is okay but nothing more. Nearby bars play loud music until 2 a.m., enough to make the wall tremble. I wouldn't really recommend it.
