Most of the hillside bungalows have a sea view, but this isn’t a place for swimming. The young teens on site were friendly, though they couldn’t speak English. To make a booking, they called the manager, who was unpleasant and insisted on payment in advance. We stayed one night and the water was cut off three times. With nobody on site who spoke English, we had to struggle through Facebook chat to reach someone who could deal with it. The bungalows may not have been maintained properly during the Covid crisis, which could explain the water problems.

The location was convenient, close to the pier and easy to find, but there are much better places on the island for this price. The accommodation is basic, which would be fine if it weren’t also dirty. The toilet leaks into the shower, and the bathroom is very unclean. It’s far too expensive for the quality.

Right at the edge of Koh Touch village, this is a clean and cozy neighborhood. The bungalows are roomy and comfortable for the price, with large private terraces, while other places cost more. Nights can get noisy from the many clubs, karaoke, and roosters. The showers are cold only. There’s Wi-Fi inside, and air conditioning costs extra, but I was fine without it thanks to the ceiling fan and a draft filter. There’s also video surveillance.
