The tents are practical, but there’s very little room to store things, nowhere to hang wet swimwear or towels, and no fridge. With the room rate being quite steep, that’s a real drawback. The resort itself is fairly attractive, tucked behind an unpaved road and a small, easy-to-miss sign. The friendly staff and the beautiful, clean beach with fine sand stood out. The pool water was dirty and smelled stagnant, and it’s no surprise nobody was using it. The restaurant needs improvement too: we found hair in our food twice, and the dishes are expensive.

The resort feels like a lovely mix of nature and five-star class. The private beach and restaurant are a little paradise, and they have all the facilities, including kayaks and a paddle board. What really mattered was the service. The whole team, especially Ann, the lead desk manager, made us feel at home and looked after our needs even before we asked. Extraordinary service. Thank you, Ann and team.

We were after a front-beach resort, and our stay at Tamu was memorable and relaxing. The tent-style accommodation has a unique feel, and it’s a great fit if you like wild nature and the beach. The staff were incredibly kind and quick to bring whatever we needed, always with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel very welcome and comfortable. My only downside was the bathroom quality, which didn’t match the rest of the resort. For that reason, I think the price-to-value ratio could be better. Still, it was a peaceful escape.

We really liked the service, it was even more amazing than the cute rooms. There’s an outdoor shower in the jungle, the food is really good, and the beach is nice and quiet. Definitely recommend! Klaudia and Daniel
