Helen Fin Inn & Apartment

The staff were so nice and helpful, and the room was exactly what I needed for a night. It felt cozy and pretty, with big windows, a super comfortable bed, good lighting, and a nice shower. I was close to lots of yummy food too. I liked just about everything!

The room was small, and the low hanging lights were close to the curtains. When we opened the curtains in the morning, one lamp broke and sent glass across the bed and room. Shards got into all our luggage, and my sister had a cut on her face and scratches on her glasses. The manager handled it terribly. When they arrived, the first thing they said was that we'd have to pay for the broken lamp, with no check on whether we were okay or apology. We explained we had only opened the curtains normally, but the response was that we should pay more attention. Please don't stay here if you care about your safety. The staff didn't seem to care about guests at all. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

We booked one night here before flying home from Phnom Penh. The room was small, but that was fine for a one-night stay. In the morning I opened the curtains beside the long hanging lamps, and one hit the curtain and shattered over the bed, cutting my face and scratching my glasses. Glass also ended up across the floor and bed. Given how large some pieces were, we were lucky it wasn't worse. At reception, the only concern seemed to be charging us for the lamp. We disputed the charge because hanging a lamp so close to the window made the room impractical, but they threatened to call the police. There was no concern for my wellbeing after it fell onto my face. I won't return. The location is fine and the rooms are average, but the awful customer care earns one star. Please don't stay here.

The room was tidy, clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. The location made getting around easy, with lots of restaurants and attractions nearby. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable place to stay in a convenient area.
