My room, 403, had recurring bugs in the bathroom and a very musty smell. I killed the ones I saw, but more kept appearing each time I went in. The bed was clean and comfortable, the buffet was good, the location was perfect, and the air conditioning was average. Still, bugs anywhere really spoil the experience for me.

Breakfast was good, with stations for eggs and noodles. I stayed twice during my tour, and the rooms were comfortable. The shower setup varied by room since the head holder couldn't be adjusted, and hot water and pressure seemed to depend on how many other guests were showering. The TVs didn't seem to be tuned in, though I didn't really need them.

The staff were really attentive and friendly, and the rooms were clean. I also liked the location, the coffee machine, the filtered cold water, and the breakfast service. For a budget hotel, it had some good points, but we had several problems: no hot water and barely any shower pressure, a door lock that needed fixing, and a safe that didn't work or seem bolted down. The beds were very hard, the TV didn't work, and the internet was out for two days.

Breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent. Mahasakor Inn is a clean, well-appointed little hotel on a peaceful central street, handy for the main sights. The staff are very friendly and speak very good English. I'd happily recommend it.

The breakfast was great, and happy hour runs from 16.00 to 22.00, with a pint of local draught beer for $1. The rooms are lovely and big.
